Cocoa Main Street

Our goal is to promote the Historical Preservation and use of Cocoa's commercial, civil, and religious enterprises and residences, eliminate physical, economic and social deterioration, and assist public and private organizations and individuals engaged in similar purposes. To hold meetings, seminars and other activities to instruct members and the public in building rehabilitation and design, economic restructuring and planning management that enhance the preservation, understanding and appreciation of Cocoa's history, culture and architecture. To solicit, receive, and administer funds for operations and educational programs.

Dreamweaver CS3Cocoa Main Street is a member of the Florida and National Main Street Programs, and works with them to further their concepts and objectives. To date, Cocoa Main Street has received six Florida Main Street Awards given by the Secretary of State. Initial funding included grants from the City of Cocoa, and the State Main Street Program. Membership dues, special events and activities now provide funding, with increasing emphasis on sponsorship and corporate funding.
